The Priceless Woman Study |
In warm climates, snow is an unusual occurrence. In most of the southern states of America, a snowfall will shut the whole city down. There may be power outages and car accidents. They don’t have heavy snow ploughs and salt spreaders to keep their roads clear. So, snowfalls are an occasion for staying indoors, taking pictures, and lighting a fire in the fireplace.
The virtuous woman is not afraid of a snowfall, because she is prepared. She has candles, canned goods, fresh drinking water, sanitizers, a radio, and flashlights with batteries on hand. Everything has a place, and everything is in its place. She has emergency items stored for easy accessibility. And, everyone stays warm with the premium woolens she has made. Sweaters, blankets and quilts will keep them warm until the harsh weather passes. Clothing of scarlet represented the finest in textiles. In the Scriptures, blue, purple and scarlet are mentioned together because they represented the finest in textiles. Those three colors were the hardest to produce with dyes. They were very expensive, so they were colors fit for royalty.
Today’s verse says: "all her household are clothed with scarlet.” For the Christian, "scarlet” symbolizes the Blood of Jesus. His shed Blood was the only acceptable sacrifice that could atone (remove) and redeem (pay the price) us from our sins. And, His Blood restored us back into fellowship and our rightful position with our Father God. Although the virtuous woman and man of valor lived before Jesus was born, they were never afraid. They were prepared with the finest of textiles, and symbolically covered by the Blood of Jesus. (Repeat the GEM FOR TODAY throughout the day)
GEM FOR TODAY: Father, I thank You that I have nothing to fear. I have prepared myself for the storms of life, and for Your eternal, life with Your garments of scarlet. I am redeemed by the Blood of Jesus which removes all my sins. (Men say) I AM A MAN OF VALOR AND I VALUE GOD'S PRICELESS WOMAN!!! (Women say) I AM GOD'S PRICELESS WOMAN!!! In Jesus' Name, Amen
